Yesterday we received the making memories "Ribbonrie" book to complement our upcoming Ribbon Technique class.

I took the book home last night and had a look through it. As always mm has presented the book beautifully, with lovely projects it's well set out with easy step by step instructions and then a "step up" instruction to build on the simple designs. This book is well worth getting to put into your scrapbooking library.

This is a sample of one of the beautiful projects in the book.

Don't forget the Ribbon Technique class is on Saturday 8 September from 10.30 until 12.30.

Tip of the Week...

This weeks tip is all about getting the kids to co-operate and how to get natural smiles instead of the fake ones.  Here are two "secrets" for getting a great shot whether in an official photo shoot or simply out snapping some casual shots.

Tip #1 - Let them be silly

Let's face it, children love to be silly and don't always want to perform for the camera.

Tip #2 - Have them whisper a secret

If you have more than one person you are trying to capture, have one of them whisper a secret in the other person's ear.  You'll get great results.
