Thankyou so much for the wonderful weekend!
I had a really great time at the shop and will be sure to be involved in more of these types of things in future. It was such a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere with lots of nice people with a range of scrapbookng styles. I loved the range of planned make-'n'- takes from cards to gate albums and Donna's mini-books, which I am sure I will be able to use on a page very soon.
The prizes were terrific and I feel very lucky to have won one of the raffles! I was planning to buy a stylus tool after finishing Donna's box of memories class, so that and the other gorgeous goodies were fantastic!!! (Love the little tags!)
I was also very grateful for the use of your equipment and expertise... I was VERY impressed with the clever Sizzix machine and I am now budgeting for a coluzzle circle cutter!
I completed 6 pages and 3 cards over the weekend, including a card for Brad for our 10th wedding anniversary this coming week! Being away from the computer forced me to do much of my journalling by hand and I am quite happy with the results.
What a fabulous idea (and for a good cause)! You are both so good at making everyone feel comfortable and also at valuing people's artistic creations.
